Leader:         The Lord be with you.
All:              And also with you.
Leader:         Lift up your hearts.
All:              We lift them up to the Lord.
Leader:         Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

Leader:         We join with the whole creation to lift our hearts in joyful praise, saying together…

All:     Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might,
          Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
          Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest.

(The prayer continues, with a focus now on Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Redeemer, and how He gave us the communion meal to unify us in one heart, one spirit, and one faith.  This segment concludes as…)

Leader:         We proclaim the mystery of faith, saying:
All:              Christ has died.
Christ has risen.
Christ will come again.

(We come to the final segment of the prayer, addressing the Holy Spirit, moving from thankfulness for what has been done to intercessions regarding what may yet be.  A time of silent supplication may mark this time, after which we conclude with The Lord’s Prayer (debts).
Hear us as we pray boldly with the words that He taught us as we say together, Our Father…Amen.

Safe In the Arms of Jesus
Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on His gentle breast;
There by His love o’ershaded Sweetly my soul shall rest.
Hark! ’tis the voice of angels Borne in a song to me,
Over the fields of glory, Over the jasper sea.
Refrain:
Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on His gentle breast;
There by His love o’ershaded Sweetly my soul shall rest.
Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe from corroding care,
Safe from the world’s temptations; Sin cannot harm me there.
Free from the blight of sorrow, Free from my doubts and fears;
Only a few more trials, Only a few more tears!
Refrain
Jesus, my heart’s dear Refuge, Jesus has died for me;
Firm on the Rock of Ages Ever my trust shall be.
Here let me wait with patience, Wait till the night is o’er;
Wait till I see the morning Break on the golden shore.
Refrain

We welcome you to our service this morning. May God continue to bless us here at Limehouse.  If you are visiting with us, please sign the guest book in the front vestibule.

Limehouse Hours – Rev. Steve will return to regular Wednesday mornings in the Limehouse church building on Wednesday, May 14th.  Breakfasts at McDonald’s are still happening, and he will be there on the 16th, 23rd and 30th of April, should you wish to meet him there instead.

  Pre-Authorized Remittance  Over the years our Church has experienced large variations in weekly donations.  This makes long term planning difficult.  Many people have taken advantage of having their donations set up on a direct debit  (Pre-Authorized Debit) system.  This way the Church knows exactly how much money is coming in every month and you know exactly how much you are donating on a regular basis.   If you are interested please speak to Bill Sanford.

Memorial Day Service - May 25th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
Rev. Steve Boose will lead us in this service of reflection and remembrance.
A light luncheon will be served in the Church hall following worship.
