ANNOUNCEMENTS

Rev. Steve Boose will be inducted into the pastoral charge of Knox, Georgetown and Limehouse on Sunday August 18th, at 7 p.m.  The service will be held in the Knox sanctuary followed by a reception.

Session will meet at the church Wednesday August 21st at 7 p.m.

Community News
Halton Plowing Match in Halton Hills The Halton Plowing Match and Conservation Tillage Competition will be held Friday, August 23, at the farm of Ted Brown, 11674 Fifth Line, Limehouse, north of 17 Sideroad,  in Halton Hills. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with the plowing matches scheduled between noon and 3 p.m., to be followed by the awards ceremony. The starting time for the Politicians Invitational, open to all sponsors and Halton councillors both municipal and regional, is 1 p.m. The event, established in 1891, will also include hands-on farm machinery demonstrations. Lunch for registered contestants will be provided courtesy of the Halton Plowmen's Association and Troy's Diner.
