We
welcome you to our 153rd Anniversary Service this morning. May God continue to
bless us here at Limehouse. If you are visiting with us, please sign the
guest book in the front vestibule.
We welcome Barb Summers, the Associate Secretary for Communications at the National Church Offices. Barb was born and raised on a family farm in Kirkfield, Ontario, and is one of five daughters. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and has completed a post-graduate Communications program. Barb has travelled internationally to visit church partners on several occasions, including trips to Central America, Africa and Asia. Barb was recently married at her home church of Glenview Presbyterian in September 2013.
Barb
joined the PCC Communications
Office in September 2012. She previously served over five years as
Communications Coordinator for Presbyterian World Service &
Development (PWS&D), the international development, emergency relief and
refugee sponsorship agency of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. PWS&D works in
countries around the world to help overcome cycles of poverty and provide
relief in times of war or disaster.
Lunch will be served in the Church hall following worship. Please join
us for fellowship.
Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday October 5th, 9:30 a.m.
Harvest Dinner October 25th with sittings at 5 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Tickets available from Glenda

Knox Anniversary Roast Beef Dinner will be held on October 17, 2014 with the first sitting at 5:00 p.m. and the second sitting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be available from Jack & Marni Thompson and the Church Office after September 10, 2014. Tickets will be Adults $15:00, Student 9:00, Children 6 and under free with a family maximum of $45.00
