Rev Steve Boose inducted to the charge

Rev Steve Boose (centre) the new minister at Limehouse Presbyterian Church and Knox Presbyterian Church, Georgetown, was officially inducted to his charge Sunday night at Knox Georgetown. Limehouse Session Clerk Bill Karn (left) and Knox Deputy Session Clerk Bill Lawrence (right) extended a welcoming handshake following the ceremony.

Halton Plowing Match in Halton Hills The Halton Plowing Match and Conservation Tillage Competition will be held Friday, August 23, at the farm of Ted Brown, 11674 Fifth Line, Limehouse, north of 17 Sideroad,  in Halton Hills. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with the plowing matches scheduled between noon and 3 p.m., to be followed by the awards ceremony. The starting time for the Politicians Invitational, open to all sponsors and Halton councillors both municipal and regional, is 1 p.m. The event, established in 1891, will also include hands-on farm machinery demonstrations. Lunch for registered contestants will be provided courtesy of the Halton Plowmen's Association and Troy's Diner.

Limehouse Presbyterian Church welcomes Rev Steve


 A jovial Rev Steve Boose took his place at the pulpit at Limehouse Presbyterian Church Sunday morning, as he was welcomed by Limehouse members for his first worship service as the new minister.

Sunday, August 18, Rev Steve will be formally inducted as the new minister at both Limehouse Presbyterian Church and Knox Presbyterian Church, with the service to be held at Knox in Georgetown, at 7 p.m.

We welcome Rev Steve and wish him and his family God's blessings as he embarks upon new his duties at both churches.

Today the Session welcomes Eric Walton to our pulpit.  

We thank Eric for his messages and ministry of music during this time of vacancy.

August 11th, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. we welcome our minister, Rev. Steve Boose.

Congregational Meeting on August 11th, 2013, following morning worship.  Following a time of fellowship in the church basement, those present will decide on next steps in the completion of the retaining wall barrier.
