·         Celebration of Life for Paul Campbell at Blue Springs Golf Course (Acton) - June 4th, 1:00-3:00.  Liz, Scott and Jennifer will be saying a few words at 2:00.

·         Memorial Day Service: May 28 at 11:00 am. We are planning an outdoor service (weather permitting) so please bring a lawn chair.  Luncheon will be served in the basement after the service but may be taken outdoors if weather allows.

·         Georgetown Bread Basket - if you are thinking of making a donation to the Georgetown Bread Basket this month, the items in most need are juice boxes for students, individual pudding cups (preferably Chocolate), Instant Hot Breakfast Cereal, Ketchup and Crackers. Items can be dropped at the food bank, in grocery stores or at Knox and they will be delivered for you.

·         ..For the families of all first responders, who never know if their loved one is going to make it to the end of their shift

·         Coronation Service:  Coronation Service:  We will be conducting a two-part service on May 6th to celebration the Coronation of our new King.  In the first part we will be streaming the Coronation from London in the Church at 5am.  In the second part we will conduct our own service at 9am.  This will be open to the public. 

·         Coffee Hour- Sign up sheet is located in the hall next to the phone. Next open date is May 14th.

·         Union Presbyterian Church will be celebrating its 190th Anniversary: May 28th, at 10:30.  Reception in the church hall following the service.

·         Norval Presbyterian Church, 185th Anniversary: Saturday June 3rd, Food Truck, Worship and Jazz Evening.  Sunday June 4th, 11am Service with Communion.

o   - for first responders who meet so many people who are having one of the worst days of their lives, and yet may be falling apart inside themselves

o   - for those who are struggling with ever-higher food prices, and the food banks who are similarly struggling to help them

o   - for those needing services that are being cut due to staffing shortages

o   - for everyone who is crying out for help and wondering if anyone hears them!
