Announcements
·
We continue to be cautious
regarding re-opening for public worship again –please pray for wisdom and
discernment as we consider the question.
·
The Weekly Check-in with Rev.
Steve on Zoom is held on Tuesdays at 3:00.
You
can use this link if you wish to access the Zoom room (and any who wish to
check in from Limehouse are also welcome!).
·
The Bible Study on the Epistle
to the Hebrews has begun again! We continue
into Chapter 8 – this meeting is also on Zoom, and
you can click on these words to activate the link to join in!
·
Our music video today is a
recording of “Wade In the Water” by the gospel acapella group Sweet Honey From
the Rock
·
Thank you to everyone who has
already contributed to the Easter Basket Brigade grocery card campaign – for
those who have not yet given them in, please have the cards or the cash to the
church or to Rev. Steve by March 25th.
·
Those wishing to contribute to
the Limehouse Drive Shed repairs, please make any cheques out to the Limehouse

Please remember to bring your elements to your time of worship next
Sunday!
·
The World Day of Prayer
service is this coming Friday, the first Friday of March. It will be done over Zoom, and it has been
discovered that you don’t need a camera or a microphone in order to simply
listen in! The link is available on the
sheet that was sent out with the announcements, and it should be very
interesting as the nation that prepared the service is the island of Vanuatu,
in the New Hebrides island chain, northeast of Australia! The service starts at 7:30, and everyone is
welcome to join in! (see attached announcement!)
·
Ilean Hancock was known to many in the congregation, although she had not been a
member of any specific congregation for some time. She passed last Sunday and her funeral was
this past Friday, co-conducted by Peter Barrow and myself.
·
Thanks, as always, to everyone
for your continued support of the work and ministry of our congregations! Please remember that you can mail in your
offering or, for the case of Knox folks, contribute through Canada Helps,
starting at www.knoxgeorgetown.com/index.php/donations
