Special Announcement:

For Limehouse members: We will be holding a brief congregational meeting following the church service today. There are three items to share and discuss:

1. Minister's remuneration for 2023

2. New roof update

3. Historic Designation of the church and shed

 Announcements:

·       Choir Carol Sing (Haydn & Friends) - December 20th, 7:00 at Knox

·       Michael Kelly Christmas Show: Friday, December 23rd, 7:00 p.m.  This is a joint fundraiser with the Rotary Club of Georgetown in support of the Georgetown Bread Basket.  We will be accepting non-perishable food items as well as financial donations.

·       Georgetown Bread Basket - if you are thinking of making a donation to the Georgetown Bread Basket this month, the items in most need are drink boxes for student lunches, 1 Litre Juice tetra paks, individual fruit cocktail cups, jam (strawberry or raspberry) and condiment French Mustard. Items can be dropped at the food bank or Knox and they will be delivered.

·       Food bank donations via our Toonie Jar are down substantially this year to date. We are hoping to make up for this decrease in November and December..  Although prices are going up everywhere, this only makes life more difficult for those who rely on food banks.  Please consider helping us to increase donations these last two months so we can provide our usual support for this important community effort.

·       Prayers for this Week

·       - For pastors, preachers, churches, shelters, food banks, and all others who are trying to ensure that "Christ" is in Christmas

·       - For those who are shelter-, food-, or financially insecure at this time of year when over-consumption is the order of the day, that they may receive their daily bread

·       - For those suffering with illness or injury, that they may find comfort and hope in their struggles.

·       - For those who are struggling with darkness in their heart, mind, or soul, that they may find the light of Christ pointing the way to their heavenly home!

Thanks, as always, to everyone for your continued support of the work and ministry of our congregations!

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
we will remember them.
