ANNOUNCEMENTS

We welcome you, our Church family, to worship this morning. May God continue to bless us here at Limehouse.

Financial Update
Limehouse Church is not permitted to" piggy-back" onto Knox's investments with the PCC. The Ontario Security Commission's rules are specific that no individual congregation can be an investor in the CIF fund without the required $150 000.  The Church Managers are investigating alternative investment options as discussed at our congregational meeting in March.
Ray Denny, Chairman
Board of Managers

Limehouse Church will be closed for the month of July. Worship with us again on August 2nd at 9:30 a.m.  During July, Knox will be having their worship services at 10:00.

BBQ Sunday August 9th 5 to 7 p.m.
Our church and Limehouse Hall are jointly raising funds for David and Kristin Cairns. Join us at the church for hamburgers, hotdogs, cold drinks and fellowship. All donations will be presented to David and Kristin to help with the rebuilding of their home after the fire in December 2013. Bring your lawn chair!

Cemetery Update
The Trustees and Board of Managers will be having a small wooden garden shed erected at the west end of the cemetery. Much needed storage for our contracted services will be provided. Cremation opening items, plywood storage and tools will be made available with no need for church accessibility by our outside contractors. Walls and roof colours will blend with the neighbour's workshop and our existing buildings.

MOMENT FOR MISSION -  Sunday June 21
Responding to God’s call for justice
PresbyteriansSharing supports Justice Ministries as it works with congregations to sow seeds of hope and respond to the justice imperatives of the gospel. Staff work with churches and presbyteries that are caring for creation, advocating for stronger social programs to assist low income neighbours and building up relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. In June, congregations are invited mark the closing event of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and Aboriginal Day Sunday, June 21, 2015.
