ANNOUNCEMENTS

We welcome you, our Church family, to worship this morning. May God continue to bless us here at Limehouse.

Session gives thanks.
Members of our Church family will be reading Lenten readings. The schedule for this is on the bulletin board in the front vestibule.

Body, Mind and SoulAt the Session meeting on February 10th, it was agreed that we will try to have a discussion for our own congregation(s) regarding the Body, Mind & Soul document on Wednesday, Feb. 24th, with at least one follow-up scheduled for Wednesday, March 2nd.  Table groups will gather in the Small Hall at 7:00.  The guide for this discussion period will be the document as found at http://presbyterian.ca/sexuality/ .  If you wish to see what was brought forward at the event in Hamilton on January 30th, please go to http://www.presbykirk.com/humansexuality.html - links to both the video presentations and the written manuscripts for the speakers can be found there.  Please pray for our denomination as it seeks to find the way forward in this time
There will be upcoming Bereavement Peer Support Training presented by Acclaim Health.in April and May of 2016. We plan on training 15-20 additional volunteers. We hope to have increased interest in this volunteer training from North Halton, so we can continue to build our Bereavement Support in this area of the Region.

If any parishioners would be interested in this training or are a bereaved person who would benefit from a 1:1 Bereavement Peer Support volunteer, please contact Mary Schnurr at 905-827-8800, or email mschnurr@acclaimhealth.ca

We at Knox Presbyterian Church, Georgetown, are deeply saddened by the passing of Carol Lawrence, a long-term active member here. She also was our media coordinator for several years. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 17th, at J. S. Jones & Sons, and the funeral will be held here at Knox on Wednesday, February 18th, at 11:00
