Ontario Christian Gleaners – Knox has financially supported the Ontario Christian Gleaners for several years.  This organization takes produce “leftovers” and converts them to dried soup ingredients that are taken or shipped around the world by missionaries or mission organizations.  A group toured the facility in Cambridge in 2014, and Rev. Steve would like to take another group on Wednesday, January 18th.  Tours begin at 10:30, so we have to leave from Knox at 9:00 that morning.  If enough people are interested, he would like to start up a quarterly volunteer crew to go down and cut veggies – he is thinking the second Wednesday of February, May, August and October (weather permitting, of course).  If this sounds interesting to you, please speak to him as the OCG like to know numbers for their tour groups
