ANNOUNCEMENTS

We welcome you to worship this morning. May God continue to bless us, here at Limehouse.

Presbyterians Sharing is the national church fund that supports the
overall mission and ministry of the Presbyterian Church in Canada.
Our 2019 accepted allocation for Presbyterians Sharing is $500.00.
Before the end of July $250.00 was submitted to the National Church office
in Toronto.
Your continued faithful financial support would be appreciated.

Bill Karn, Church Treasurer

We thank Sharon Dutton for her gift of music  during our worship this morning.

Limehouse 158th Anniversary - On Sunday, September 29th, at 11:00 a.m. , Limehouse celebrates its 158th anniversary as a congregation of the Presbyterian Church.  During this service, and afterwards, we will be recognizing Bill Sanford, who recently moved to Tillsonburg, for his many contributions, large and small, to the life and work of the congregation over the past many years.  Please plan to come and help Bill celebrate his "retirement" and the next chapter of his life!

Mark Your Calendars - On Sunday, October 6th, we will not gather for worship at Limehouse at 9:30 as usual but will gather at 10:30 at Knox, Acton, for our fifth annual Halton Hills Presbyterian Joint Service.  That service will include the celebration of Holy Communion as part of Worldwide Communion Sunday.

While the Session encourages everyone to attend that service, we have decided that we will also serve communion to the Limehouse congregation on the following week, October 13th (Thanksgiving Sunday)!  We are indeed thankful for all that the Lord has given to us!

Unpacking the Word - Rev. Steve will be teaching a course on Lay Worship Leadership on Mondays starting on September 16th and going for about three weeks.  We will gather in his Study at 7:00.  Lessons will be concerned with writing prayers, writing sermons, reading things aloud, and even stringing things together into a full service of worship.  Those interested in learning part or all ofthis course can ask him questions about it any time, or just come on out!

W.A. Meeting will be held at the church on Monday, September 16th at 7 p.m.
The agenda will include plans for the church Anniversary  luncheon and other fall items.Ladies, please plan to attend.
