Announcements

· Re-Opening Knox - The Knox sanctuary will be open for public worship THIS Sunday, March 6th! Protocols will be the same as before, for the time being. This means that worship will NOT be pre-recorded, but will be LIVE at 11:00! See you then!

· Communion Sunday – This Sunday, March 6th, we will celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Please remember to bring your elements either to worship or to the place where you view the service! Packaged elements will be available for those who forget to bring theirs. Hopefully someday not too far away, we will be able to at least go back to common plates (with precautions)!

· Limehouse Church AGM- Saturday, March 19 10:00 am

· Limehouse Givings- Please note that during the lockdown and potentially bad weather, arrangements can be made for monthly contributions to be picked up if you do not wish to go to a monthly automatic withdrawal from your account. Please contact Cathy Brown to arrange. Her contact information is cell: 905 703 3883, email: browncathym@hotmail.com, mail: 17 Hewson Cr. Georgetown L7G 2N8.

· Knox Session - Reminder that Session will meet next week, March 15th, rather than this week.

· Elder Election - Please remember that Knox is seeking nominees for an Elder Election! Elders will be responsible for pastoral care among some of the members and adherents within the congregation, as well as gathering to make decisions about the present and future directions the congregation may take! If you have a nomination, please have it in to Rev. Steve or one of the current elders no later than Sunday, March 13th!

· Easter Basket Brigade- In conjunction with the Georgetown BreadBasket, Community Unity has identified approx 175 Families in need of Groceries in the Halton Hills area and will be distributing these the week of April 11th, 2022. We are suggesting our Families in all of our congregations to share Easter with another family by ideally purchasing (2) $50.00 Grocery Gift Cards and also writing an Easter Card to the family and share God’s love between us… Any size of donation is greatly appreciated and please forward all Cards, Donations and Easter Cards to your Church Representative. OR Donations to Community Unity Individual Donations will also be gratefully accepted and donations may also be made at http://www.communityunityhaltonhills.com/ and clicking on “Donate” - Canada Helps - a tax receipt will be instantly generated. It would be ideal to receive the donations prior to March 31st as it takes a week for the funds to be released to Community Unity.

· Pray also for:

- For Christians who have begun their Lenten observance, as they "fast" from either physical items or self-destructive attitudes

- For students whose minds are turning to the ends of their current school lives (elementary, high school, undergrad, post-grad, etc.) and coming next steps

- For those who are coming to the end of their lives, in the season when we prepare to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus

- For those who are struggling with fear as the world starts to "open" a bit more

Thanks, as always, to everyone for your continued support of the work
