Food bank donations via Toonie Jar

Toonie donations are down substantially this year to date. We are hoping to make up for this decrease.  Although prices are going up everywhere, this only makes life more difficult for those who rely on food banks.  Please consider helping us to increase donations these last two months so we can provide our usual support for this important community effort.

Dennis McLay leaving. As some of you are aware, Dennis McLay will be leaving Know at the end of this year; with the passing of his mother, he has inherited her home in Lion's Head and will be retiring there. He will be back in Georgetown for various commitments mid-week, he will not be able to wear any of the many "hats" he has taken on himself over the past several years. We wish Dennis well in his retirement new endeavors.

Prayers for this Week

For those celebrating the birth of Christ around the world!

For those who are eager to put 2022 behind them and "start fresh" in 2023

For those who are lonely at this time of year, that they may find someone to sit with them and give light to their darkness

For those bearing messages of love and grace far and wide (and that includes those with or without wings!)

Thanks, as always, to everyone for your continued support of the work and Ministry of our congregations!
