 Announcements

·         Coronation Service:  Coronation Service:  We will be conducting a two-part service on May 6th to celebration the Coronation of our new King.  In the first part we will be streaming the Coronation from London in the Church at 5am.  In the second part we will conduct our own service at 9am.  This will be open to the public. 

·         Coffee Hour- Sign up sheet is located in the hall next to the phone. Next open date is May 14th.

·         Knox Georgetown is looking for a new Bookkeeper: Please contact Jim Colter at 905-877-8805 or Charles Veale at knoxgeorgetown@gmail.com

·         Georgetown Bread Basket - if you are thinking of making a donation to the Georgetown Bread Basket this month, the items in most need are juice boxes for students, individual pudding cups (preferably Chocolate), Instant Hot Breakfast Cereal, Ketchup and Crackers. Items can be dropped at the food bank, in grocery stores or at Knox and they will be delivered for you.

·         Rotary Community Dinners at Knox: Supported by Out of the Cold Volunteers: In partnership with the Rotary Club of Georgetown and many of our Out of the Cold Volunteers we will be hosting a series of community dinners based on the model currently being done at St. Andrew’s UC.  The first dinner will be tonight at 6pm, doors open at 5:30. The next dinner will be on June 2nd. For more information, speak to Charles.

·         Union Presbyterian Church will be celebrating its 190th Anniversary: May 28th, at 10:30.  Reception in the church hall following the service.

·         Norval Presbyterian Church, 185th Anniversary: Saturday June 3rd, Food Truck, Worship and Jazz Evening.  Sunday June 4th, 11am Service with Communion.
