Church Custodian Needed

Effective January 31st, Pam Payne has retired from this position.

If anyone is interested in filling this position or knows of someone that would,  please contact Ray Denny, Chairman of Board of Managers, for details.The duties include the cleaning of the washrooms, sanctuary, vestry, front vestibule and occasionally the basement. The cleaning is on an "as needed" basis.

 

If you wish to participate in Lenten readings, please speak to Bill Karn.

The first Sunday of Lent is March 5th.

 

HOMESHARE PRESENTATION.  Heather Thompson will be the guest at Bethel Church’s YOY (Youth of Yesterday J) on Monday, February 27, 10:00 am.  Anyone and everyone of any age is invited to learn about alternatives that help seniors stay in their homes and young adults or couples afford rent.  

MENTAL HEALTH 101 – Bethel Church will be hosting a Mental Health 101 workshop on Saturday, March 4, from 8:30 to noon.  The seminar will discuss what good mental health looks like and how to walk with those who are struggling.  There will be time for questions and discussion.  For more information or to register please contact Shirley Feddema, Community Life Coordinator, communitylife@actoncrc.com or 519-853-2121 x5. 

 

Bethel CRC , Acton is hosting a Hootenanny with Tim Neufeld and the Glory Boys  This "Worship Hoedown” is a bluegrass inspired night of music and joy ... beards, banjos and blessings for the whole family. The concert is on Tuesday May 2 at 7:00 pm and doors open at 6:30 pm.
